How does the meal photo analysis work?

Snap a photo of your meal in the app; we securely upload it to our storage, send it to an AI vision model that identifies the dishes and estimates calories + macros, and save the result to your day log. You can edit or confirm the items before they count.

The estimate looks off — can I edit it?

Yes. Tap the meal in your home feed → adjust portions or remove items → Save. The totals recalculate from the items you keep.

Where do my calorie targets come from?

From the quiz: we use the Mifflin–St Jeor formula on your age, sex, height, weight, and activity level, plus a goal-based offset (lose / maintain / gain). You can rerun the math any time from Settings → Daily target or Weight & height.

How do reminders work?

Toggle Meal reminders, Water reminders, or Streak alerts in Settings. We schedule local notifications on the device, so they fire even with no internet connection. Pushes from the server (e.g. when a photo finishes processing) come over Firebase.

How do I delete my account?

Tap Settings → Privacy → Delete account. We soft-delete immediately and permanently purge after 30 days.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google — cancel from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or from the Play Store on Android.

How do I cancel a web subscription?

Web subscriptions purchased at the end of the quiz are billed by Stripe. Cancel at any time from your account page on the web, or email [email protected] and we'll process the cancellation. EU and UK consumers can request a full refund within 14 days of any renewal charge.
